Barry goes Ballooning!

A very pleasant September's Sunday evening and the weather was kind enough to go
ballooning and fly the man himself.
As it happens we flew right over Barry's sister's house near Trim,
where aeriel photographs were promply snapped. After landing on terra-firma, it was a hasty retreat for some liquid refreshments.

Audrey Gets Airborne

Audrey Gets Airborne

Audrey McLoughlin enjoying her very first Balloon Flight over Bellinter, near Navan in Co. Meath. As you know, there is little or no steerage in a Balloon, however, after taking off near Trim, Puffin still managed to land just 5 minutes away from Audreys home near Screen.

Alan Ryan, enjoying his flight over Athboy

Airborne At Last

We promised Alan a flight over a year ago, since then Alan had to endure one aborted launch as wind picked up at the last minute. This time it was 'all go' and Alan enjoyed a very pleasent 50 min flight aboard Puffin.

Ballooning or Painting?

The met only came thru at 5pm, so a few hasty phone calls later and we had our crew assembled for an evening flight in Puffin. One minute David was painting a friends house, next minute, the phone rang and an hour later he was at 562 feet doing 7.8 kts (look very closely at the GPS to the right of David).
