Who are they?
Chorus Communication Limited is the new name for Princes Holdings Limited. The company was formed over the years 1990-2000 through a process of consolidation of the privately owned cable operators in Ireland, and adopted its current branding on 2nd October 2000. Where are they?
Everywhere NTL is not! They hold MMDS franchises covering the entire Republic of Ireland bar Counties Dublin, Galway, Waterford, and Mayo. In addition they hold cable franchises for Cork, Limerick, and most smaller towns in the Republic. They hold a broadband wireless telephony licence for Northern Ireland also - the market for cable and MMDS there has been de-regulated as of 1 January.
