Former DG of TG4 gets top job. The Radio Telefis Eireann Authority has announced the appointment of Cathal Goan as the next Director-General of RTE. Mr Goan was previously Ceannasai (Director-General) of Telefis na Gaelige, and currently holds the post of Director of Television of RTE.
