NTL Dublin transmits all its channels in-band
on VHF. A decoder is only supplied if you subscribe to
Premium services. This has the advantage that you are
able to tape programmes on a cable channel and watch
another channel, and you can give the 26 channels
whatever numbers you want! But it has the side-effect
that you are unable to view pay-per-view events unless
you first subscribe to a premium channel.

RADIO SERVICE
NTL Dublin also transmit a radio service. If you
have a hifi with a coaxial aerial socket you can plug
your cable in and listen to "crystal clear" (I
have not always found it so!) radio. This is the only way
to get Stereo FM on Radio 5!!! The following are the
